BBQ Bash
After all that hard effort on the bike, it’s time to celebrate and refuel at the BBQ Bash. While families work through the tasty barbeque under the big tent, they can enjoy the stage entertainment, emceed by CBC’s Tom Harrington. Besides enjoying the music of the band, Paul Malysa and the Ryvals, there’s always a chance of a visit from Mayor Hazel McCallion. The top fundraisers and teams, including the Kids4Kids Team, will be presented on stage. Afterwards kids can have their faces painted and participate in some fun kids activities.
Cost
The BBQ Bash is free to all participating cyclists and volunteers. Spectators can purchase tickets at the door for $10 for adults, and $5 for children.

Paul Malysa
When you first experience Mississauga-based singer/songwriter, Paul Malysa, you won't believe the soulful, harmonious and signature voice that stands hairs on your arms. His music is emotionally charged and overwhelms audiences everywhere. Following the success of his CD release ‘No More Yellow Lights,’ which garnered radio airplay across Canada, live performances, and numerous interviews to support this CD, Paul is now busy in production finishing his new CD, 'Above the Fold.'
Silent Auction
Bring your cheque books and charge cards because we are planning a silent auction at the BBQ Bash that’s fun and filled with surprises! Our auction promises great items that you won’t be able to resist, including a new “Taste Mississauga” component.
$1,000+ Klub Prizes
Those riders that raise $1,000 or more will become part of the $1,000+ Klub and be eligible for exclusive prizes drawn at the BBQ Bash. Cyclists that raise $2,000 or more will also be given a free Healing Cycle technical shirt. The top ten fundraising cyclists will be introduced on stage at the BBQ Bash.
Team Challenge Prizes
A number of prize winners will be drawn from the names of all the team members that are on teams that have won a Team Challenge trophy.
Draw Prizes
All participants of the ride are eligible to win great draw prizes drawn at the BBQ Bash.
Kids4Kids Prizes
The top 10 Kids4Kids Team fundraisers will be eligible to win prizes.
Gift Bags
Cyclists receive a finisher’s medal and a gift bag of goodies, including a free t-shirt.
