Community of Caring

After the death of a loved one, family and friends need support.

The Healing Cycle Foundation believes that care for family and friends should be extended after the death of a loved one and that some individuals may want outside help in dealing with their grief. (To read more about the general characteristics of grief click here).

In an effort to assist those individuals through their process of grief, the Foundation is partnering with the non-profit organization, Life Interrupted, which offers grief support work and educational seminars on grief and loss. Life Interrupted is managed by Laurie Martin, CTS.

Laurie Martin is a professional Certified Trauma and Grief Specialist, Life Coach and Author. Her background in crisis and trauma education has led her to devote much of her life providing the tools to help individuals heal their wounds of loss. Laurie is a much-in-demand speaker and educator and resides in Mississauga. She has over 17,000 hours of frontline experience working with individuals and groups experiencing many types of devastating loss. (To read more about Laurie Martin’s qualifications and international experience as a Certified Trauma Specialist click here).
