Hotel Accommodations

A special rate ($79 per night with free parking) is available for all Healing Cycle Ride participants at the Delta Meadowvale, 6750 Mississauga Road, which is just 5 minutes away from the start/finish line. Online Registration

There is a $50 fee for adults to register for the Healing Cycle Ride and $25 for children under 18. This non-refundable fee covers operating expenses of the ride so that 100% of all ride donations can go directly to supporting hospice palliative care across Ontario. Online registration closes Thursday, June 21, 2012.

Day-of Registration

Day-of registration of riders is accepted, provided that the cyclist pays a $65 late registration fee and has brought the minimum fundraising donations required to participate.

Waivers

Cyclists should arrive one hour before their scheduled starting time in order to get through the registration process and instructions. Each cyclist will be required to sign a waiver form and will pick up their cycling kit. You may download the waiver, sign and date it and bring it with you on the day of the event. Having the waiver ahead of time will speed up your registration process.

Breakfast

Breakfast snacks will be provided during registration.

Lunch

Every cyclist will receive a free barbeque lunch as part of the post-ride celebrations. For further information refer to the BBQ Bash.

Helmets

Helmets are mandatory for every cyclist. Without them, cyclists cannot participate in the event. Some helmets are available for purchase of $50 the day of the ride if you forget your helmet.

Photography

Each route will have a photographer taking pictures of the cyclists. Photographers will also be located at the start / finish line and at the BBQ Bash festivities. Teams are encouraged to approach photographers and ask for team pictures to be taken. These pictures will be posted on our website a few weeks after the event. All low resolution pictures are free, while higher resolution shots are $18 each.
