Hotel Options

If you are visiting from out of town for the weekend of the ride and need a hotel room in the area, blocks of rooms have been set aside for Healing Cycle participants and their families at discounted rates. Please use the reservation links below when booking a room at either hotel.

Fundraising Requirements

Online Registration

The Early Bird registration fees (November 1 to December 31) are $55 for adults and $35 for children under the age of 18. The regular registration fees (January 1 to March 31) are $60 for adults and $40 for children. The late registration fees (April 1 to June 19) are $65 for adults and $45 for children. The fee for Sidekicks is $30, regardless of when registration is completed.. These non-refundable fees cover some of the operating expenses of the ride.

The deadline for online registration is Thursday, June 19, 2014 at midnight. Anyone who wishes to register after that date can register at the event.

Day-of Registration

Day-of registration of riders is accepted, provided that the cyclist pays a $70 registration fee ($50 for children) and has brought to the event the minimum fundraising donations required to participate.

Cyclists should arrive one hour before their scheduled starting time in order to get through the registration process and instructions.

Bike Rentals with Exclusive Sport Rentals

Bike rentals will be provided by Exclusive Sport Rentals, which will offer a 30% discount on their regular rental rates to all Healing Cycle participants. They will provide their bike rentals on location on the day of the ride. However, you must arrange bike rentals before the event. Police 4 Palliative Care Program

Members of Toronto Police Service Community Response Units across Toronto as well as York Regional Police and Peel Regional Police are partnering with Hospice Palliative Care Ontario and The Healing Cycle Foundation in support of raising awareness and funds for hospices in Toronto, York and Peel Regions. Divisional officers will ride in the Healing Cycle Ride on behalf of their nominated hospice. For further information on this program visit our Police4Palliative Care page.

Breakfast

Breakfast snacks will be provided during registration.

Lunch

Every cyclist will receive a lunch as part of the post-ride celebrations. For further information refer to the Post-Ride Festivities.

Helmets

Helmets are mandatory for every cyclist. Without them, cyclists cannot participate in the event. Some helmets are available for purchase of $50 the day of the ride if you forget your helmet.

Photography

Each route will have a photographer taking pictures of the cyclists. Photographers will also be located at the start / finish line and at the BBQ Bash festivities. Teams are encouraged to approach photographers and ask for team pictures to be taken. These pictures will be posted on our website a few weeks after the event.
