2011 Team Challenge Winners
Large Team Winner (26+) Via Ciclante
With Jean-Paul Tesolin at the helm, this 35-member team told anyone who would listen that they were planning on placing first. Well they had every right to boast because after raising $55,076, the most any team has ever raised in the history of the Healing Cycle Ride, they did exactly what they set out to do. In close second was its rival team, Credit Valley Hospital, lead by co-captains Pat Johnstone and Dr. Rob Boyko. They raised $52,162. Third place honours went to a Healing With Smiles - the most purple team you've ever seen - who raised $15,626.
Medium Team Winner (11-25 team members) Investment Planning Counsel of Canada
This 24-member team has been very loyal to the Healing Cycle Ride, riding in the past 4 events. It raised a total of $11,820. Hazel Burns Hospice came in second with $9,377 while third-place GlaxoSmithKline trailed only slightly with $9,183.
Small Team Winner (10 or less) Healing Cycle Bike Club
The Healing Cycle Bike Club was a small, but mighty team of just 4 members, raising $11,320, placing 7th overall out of 42 teams. The spirit of the Bike Club has shone through year after year. Thank you to the team and its Team Captain, Tony LeMay. In second place was S C Partners, LLP with $11,260 and Anixter came in third place with $9,406.
